We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Assistant to support our construction team on various projects. This role involves assisting with site preparation, material handling, and supporting skilled tradespeople to ensure efficient project progress. Responsibilities

Assist with site setup, including unloading materials and organizing tools and equipment Support skilled workers with tasks such as measuring, cutting, and assembling materials Help maintain a clean and safe work environment by removing debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed Carry out basic construction tasks under supervision, including digging, lifting, and moving materials Operate simple power tools and hand tools safely and correctly Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries Support project timelines by efficiently completing assigned tasks

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience is a plus but not required Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills on the job Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately Basic understanding of construction safety practices is preferred but not mandatory Reliable transportation to job sites; valid driver's license is a plus Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing work environments
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.85-$27.91 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
