We are seeking a motivated and reliable Construction Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support construction projects by assisting skilled tradespeople, maintaining a safe work environment, and ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently. Duties

Assist in the setup and cleanup of job sites, ensuring all materials and tools are organized and readily available. Support skilled tradespeople with tasks such as framing, drywall installation, painting, and other construction-related activities. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision. Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project timelines are met. Perform basic measurements and calculations as needed for project specifications. Help with loading and unloading materials from vehicles and transporting them to job sites.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in construction or a related field is a plus but not required. Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site. Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods. Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided. Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
