Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Construction Helper to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support construction projects by assisting skilled tradespeople and ensuring that work sites remain organized and safe. This role is essential for maintaining workflow efficiency and contributing to the successful completion of various construction tasks.

Duties

Assist in the preparation of job sites by gathering tools, materials, and equipment needed for daily tasks. Support carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other tradespeople in their duties as required. Help with the installation of structures and framing, including windows, doors, drywall, and flooring. Help with mudding, taping, primer and pain work. Maintain a clean and organized work environment by disposing of waste materials and cleaning tools. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Perform basic measurements and calculations to assist in project layout. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.

Skills

Basic knowledge of construction methods and tools is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks effectively. Previous experience in construction field is preferred. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Familiarity with safety practices in construction settings is a plus.

Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour

Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
