Job Description

Seeking ambitious individual who is interested in working and learning to become productive in the construction industry.

Skyrise Scaffolding provides expert scaffolding systems to support General Contractors and Specialist Trades in the Construction Industry. The remainder of our days are filled with the construction, maintenance and renovation of Commercial and Residential buildings owned and operated by our Group of Companies.

Location of Work:

Work sites in Fall River and Dartmouth.

Responsibilities:

Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas Assist carpenters in construction activities Assist in the renovation of buildings. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. As directed, assist others with and perform various manual labor tasks.

Responsibilities as a Team Member:

Participate as a vital team member and contribute to the success of the company. Promote a team approach and maintain a dialogue with all employees to exchange information and gather ideas. Promote and adhere to the company's safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors, and consultants to adopt safety as a culture. Attend and participate in daily and weekly safety meetings and inspections. Work in a safe, responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself, or endanger the wellbeing of others.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

Strong interest and determination to be productive in the construction industry. High School Education Ability to work outdoors in a physically demanding environment in rain or shine, heat or cold. Strong interpersonal teamwork and customer service skills. Demonstrated commitment to safety. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted. Ability to prioritize workload based on daily requirements. Able to communicate effectively and follow written and verbal instructions. Proficient use of iPhone/Android to track and record items (WhatsApp, text messaging, Asana & Outlook). Excellent problem-solving skills, good analytical ability and manual dexterity.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
