We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Assistant to support our construction team in various project tasks. Responsibilities
Assist with site preparation, including unloading materials and setting up equipment
Support skilled tradespeople with tasks such as measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment at all times
Help with loading and unloading supplies and tools as needed
Assist in the installation of structures, fixtures, or other components under supervision
Perform basic carpentry, demolition, or landscaping tasks as required
Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors promptly
Skills
Basic understanding of construction processes and tools preferred but not required; training will be provided
Ability to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team
Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety procedures
Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Good communication skills and reliability
Prior experience in construction or related fields is a plus but not necessary; eagerness to learn is essential
Valid driver's license is advantageous for transportation between sites
