POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a motivated and reliable General Labourer to join our travelling construction team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, variety in tasks, and the opportunity to travel between INNhotels locations. You will assist with construction, renovation, maintenance, and improvement projects across multiple properties.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in construction, renovation, and repair projects, including framing, drywall, painting, flooring, and finishing work. Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, painters, maintenance technicians) with daily tasks and site setup. Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment between job sites. Perform demolition, cleanup, and general site maintenance. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Travel to various INNhotels locations across Alberta and B.C. as required. Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule. This is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all functions; other suitable duties may be assigned.

Requirements:

Previous experience in construction, maintenance, or general labour is an asset. Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment. Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various environments. Willing and able to travel frequently and stay at INNhotels properties for the duration of projects. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Ability to follow direction and work safely as part of a team.

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
