Job Description
Crossroads Staffing is hiring a Skilled Construction Labourer for a temporary assignment with a well-established general contractor and construction management firm. This company has over 35 years of experience and is known for precision, innovation, and collaboration.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with site operations and support skilled trades.
- Perform manual labour tasks in outdoor and construction environments.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Install, move, and maintain fencing and silt fences.
- Set up and maintain temporary heating systems.
- Jobsite clean-up and snow removal.
- Complete tasks as directed by the Site Superintendent or Project Manager.
- 1-2 years of construction or skilled labour experience preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Working at Heights Certification is an asset.
- Must provide CSA-approved safety boots (minimum 6" height).
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm (weather dependent).
- Weekly pay; overtime after 44 hours.
