Construction Foreman/supervisor

Job Description

GPS Construction Ltd. is dedicated to offering quality services in all aspects of civil construction.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent supervisory skills, and a thorough understanding of construction processes. Civil construction experience would be considered an asset. This role requires effective communication with team members, subcontractors, and management to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules and safety standards. Oversee the work of subcontractors and laborers, providing guidance and support as needed. Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications

A minimum of 8-10 years of proven experience in construction Must have a valid drivers license, with a clean drivers abstract for the past year Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Ability to communicate clearly A commitment to safety practices on the job site Ability to work locally or in locations around Northern BC
We can accommodate a semi retired person, or someone who would like to work seasonally.

A bonus will be paid, in addition to LOA, when staying in camp.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $40.00-$55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week

10 hour shift 8 hour shift Day shift Holidays Monday to Friday Overtime Weekends as needed
