Efficiency. Expertise. Integrity. Centerfire is currently seeking self motivated, experienced individual to join our workforce as a Foreman/Supervisor. We take significant pride in bringing on our crew members with the expertise to operate a variety of machines and drive a range of trucks in addition to their other practical skills. Opportunity: Foreman/Supervisor Schedule: Schedule and work hours to vary depending on work scope. Flexible but busy work schedule, working up to 12 hours per day. Job Location: Fort McMurray Responsibilities:

  • Preform daily toolbox talks and attend meetings when necessary
  • Preform daily supervisor reports
  • Coordinate equipment and light duty vehicles with equipment coordinator
  • Monitor equipment utilization and report down equipment
  • Must be able to take direction from Site management and site superintendent
  • Adhere to and ensure health and safety compliance and procedures are being held to the highest standard.
Qualifications:
  • 2-5 Years experience in a construction leadership role.
  • 5-10 Years experience in the construction industry
  • Must have valid Class 5 driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and provide a 5 year drivers abstract that meets insurance requirements.
  • Pre-access 8 panel D&A with breath alcohol.
  • Self-motivated, flexible and proactive with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong safety culture.
Must have or be willing to obtain the following tickets (some exceptions may apply):
  • CSO or BSO;
  • CSTS 2020/ WHMIS 2020
  • Ground Disturbance Level 2
  • Standard First Aid/CPR
  • TDG
  • OSSA Wildlife (in class with bear spray)
  • H2S Alive; CSTS2020
  • Confined Space OSSA
  • Leadership for safety excellence
