King EPCM is looking to fill one (1) full-time experienced construction foreman position. This position is for an experienced heavy machinery operator, with a proven record in managment of construction sites to conduct site visits, conduct topographic surveys, drill and perform geotechnical boreholes, and lead team work on time and budget. Under the direct guidance of the Principal Engineer, the construction foreman is expected to independently complete projects related to their field of expertise, and perform project managment, people management to ensure the team also performs successfully.

Site locations are generally GTA area, with sporadic visits required to other areas in Southern Ontario.

King EPCM is offering base salary at $35 ~$45 per hour, plus various health benefits.

Responsibilities

Drive pick-up trucks while towing a medium sized trailer Loading & unloading materials to pick-up truck bed & at job site Operate mechanized hand tools or other inspection tools Operate skid steer and mini-excavator, to perform geotechnical / environmental inspection work Conduct topographic surveys, using GPS and total station (Must have background experience, to be tested during interview) Conduct concrete testing, as per ACI credentials (Company will give training) Conduct general inspections & testing of different aspects of civil and chemical environmental engineering Write and convey inspection results to other team members Manage team with internal dispatch, regarding daily work of each team member Maintain safe equipment operations and shop cleanliness
Mandatory Requirements

Perform project management of many small and fast projects Perform people management to lead crews 10+ years of foreman experience, conduct daily morning huddle, scheduling, workflow, problem solving, and leading crew logistics Must have surveying experience of how to use GPS and total station Must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience of skid steer and excavator work experience Must be physically fit to conduct field-visits and operate heavy mechanized hand tools Must have valid G driver's license and personal vehicle, willing to travel to project site with either personal vehicle or on company vehicle Show demonstrated ability to quickly learn new tasks and inspection methods Fully fluent in English language, with ability to write clear and concise inspection reports
Preferred Requirements

Good to have successful C. Tech or CET designation from OACETT
