Universal Contracting is one of Chilliwack's leading and most highly respected construction companies. Due to continued growth within or Civil Infrastructure and Site Servicing division, we are currently seeking a full time, ambitious and skilled Civil Construction Foreman with minimum 3-4 years experience.
The role of our Pipelayer Foreman is to lead onsite crews responsible for installation of main utilities (sanitary, storm and water) following design drawings and specifications.
We are expecting you to have solid experience in construction, great interpersonal skills, be detailed oriented, work well under pressure and the ability to make decisions in complex situations.
Able to work F/T hours, O/T hours over 8 hours per day

esponsibilities:
Analyze project drawings, contract documents, and tender documents to develop construction plans for your crew.
Lead construction site ensuring workers follow to construction plans efficiently and safely.
Prepare and enforce employee schedules and construction timelines.
Ability to effectively communicate with project managers, engineers, and clients in a professional manner.
Develop daily reports accurately and in a timely manner.
