Job Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator/Coordinator to join our team. This role is integral to the successful planning, budgeting, and execution of construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in construction estimating, project management, and contract negotiation, with a proven track record in managing complex construction bids and coordinating project activities from inception to completion. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing advanced estimating tools and construction management practices to ensure project success.

Responsibilities



Prepare accurate and comprehensive construction estimates using Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other estimating software. Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to develop project budgets and schedules. Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to determine scope of work and cost factors. Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to secure competitive rates. Coordinate with construction teams on site to gather real-time data for cost control and project adjustments. Monitor project progress, track costs, and implement cost control measures to stay within budget. Assist in the development of bid proposals, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Manage contract documentation, change orders, and scope modifications throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards on all projects. Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met efficiently.

Skills



Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu for plan review and markup processes. Strong negotiation skills for contracts, pricing, and vendor agreements. Experience with HeavyBid or similar estimating software for detailed cost analysis. Extensive knowledge of construction estimating techniques and best practices. Solid understanding of construction site operations and safety protocols. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent organizational skills. Familiarity with construction management principles and project management tools. Experience in contract administration and scope management. Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. This position requires a proactive professional committed to delivering precise estimates while coordinating seamlessly across various facets of construction projects. Candidates should demonstrate a strong foundation in both technical estimating skills and effective project coordination capabilities to contribute meaningfully to our company's success.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
