Construction Estimator (ICI Projects)
? London / Kitchener / Waterloo, ON
? Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 (based on experience)
? Full-Time | On-Site / Hybrid (project dependent)
Our client is a well-established General Contractor with a strong presence in the ICI construction market across Southwestern Ontario. They are looking to add an experienced Construction Estimator to support ongoing and upcoming projects ranging from tenant fit-outs to large-scale institutional and commercial builds.
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for ICI construction projects
• Perform quantity take-offs and pricing for all divisions
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents
• Solicit, review, and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Develop budgets, conceptual estimates, and bid submissions
• Identify risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving solutions
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Pre-Construction teams

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience estimating ICI construction projects
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and sequencing
• Experience preparing estimates for base building, renovations, and tenant fit-outs
• Proficiency with estimating and take-off software (e.g., Bluebeam, Excel, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and time management
