OverviewOur Client is seeking a graduate who is looking for full-time employment in the position of Construction Estimating Coordinator for office interior renovation projects. The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in relevant field and looking to become a Construction Estimator in the future. The ideal candidate will also be organized, motivated, and detail-oriented.Yearly Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000Responsibilities

• Assist with review and evaluating of cost estimates
• Compiling tender documents and bid forms
• Maintaining the tendering process
• Eager to learn and understand the scope of work to bid
• Assist with preparation of cost analysis
• Contact and maintain a directory of suppliers and subcontractors
• Communication with engineers, owners, architects, and subcontractors as needed
• Assisting with management and coordination of construction projects and preparing construction progress schedules may also be required

• Bachelor\'s Degree/Diploma in Architectural Science, Civil Engineering, Applied Science, Accounting or other construction-related field an asset
• Ability to read construction drawings is required
• Strong understanding of Construction process is an asset
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
• Ability to multi-task, work well independently and meet strict deadlines
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, decision-making skills, stress and time management skills, as well as excellent team-building/ leadership skills.
• Full (G) driver\xe2\x80\x99s license required
