Construction Equipment Delivery Driver - Class 5 (F550 with Picker and Gooseneck Trailer)

Legacy Equipment Rentals is seeking a motivated and reliable Class 5 Construction Equipment Delivery Driver for work with an equipment rental company in Edmonton, AB.

This role focuses on the safe, efficient delivery and pickup of construction rental equipment using a new F550 truck equipped with a picker and gooseneck trailer. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys operating smaller trucks with trailers and takes pride in being dependable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused. You'll report to the Customer Service Manager and be a key part of a tight-knit crew that values safety, dependability and keeps our equipment moving and our customers happy.

Key

responsibilities:

Operate an F550 with picker and gooseneck trailer safely and skillfully

Deliver and pick up construction equipment to and from customer sites

Load/unload equipment using proper tools and safety practices

Complete delivery and pick-up documentation accurately

Support Yard and Customer Service teams with daily operations and manual tasks between deliveries

Participate in on-call rotation

What we're looking for:

Valid Class 5 license - must provide a current driver abstract

Experience operating F550s with picker and gooseneck trailers

Strong understanding of securing and transporting equipment

Safety-first mindset, clean driving record and reliable work ethic

Comfortable with manual labour when not driving

Physically able to lift up to 44 lbs, and work in varied conditions

Familiar with logbook requirements and transportation regulations

Team player with good communication and recordkeeping skills
