Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Second Level Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This apprentice position is ideal for individuals looking to continue a rewarding career in the electrical trade or expand on their current experience. The Apprentice Electrician will work under the supervision of experienced electricians, gaining hands-on experience and knowledge in various electrical tasks and systems. This role requires a willingness to learn and develop skills in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair.

Currently looking for applicants local to the salmon arm B.C. or surrounding area.

Or Part Time/potential full time in Revelstoke

Responsibilities

Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements. Work with low voltage systems under the guidance of a licensed electrician. Participate in troubleshooting electrical issues and performing necessary repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage applications. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment. Ability to read blueprints and schematics related to electrical work. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Willingness to learn from experienced electricians and take direction. Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials as needed. Previous experience as an industrial electrician or in a related field is a plus but not required.
