Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable

Driver & Materials Coordinator

to assist with transporting tools, equipment, and materials between job sites, suppliers, and our storage location. The ideal candidate is punctual, organized, and comfortable navigating the city.

When there are no materials to transport, the successful candidate will assist the crew on-site with basic construction tasks, making this a well-rounded role for someone interested in both driving and hands-on work.

Key Responsibilities:

Transport tools, supplies, and materials between job sites, suppliers, and the shop. Assist with loading and unloading items to ensure safe transport. Maintain organization and inventory of tools and materials during transport. Support the construction crew on-site with general labor tasks when transportation duties are not required. Communicate with site supervisors to coordinate deliveries and pickups. Ensure safe and legal operation of the vehicle at all times.

Requirements:

Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record. Own a reliable vehicle capable of carrying tools and materials (preferred but not required -- company vehicle may be provided). Familiarity with the Vancouver area and surrounding cities. Physically capable of lifting and moving materials. Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions. Previous experience in construction or delivery is an asset but not mandatory.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly wage based on experience. Mileage reimbursement (if using personal vehicle). Opportunity for growth within the company.
