Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, commercial driving, and possess strong communication skills to ensure a positive delivery experience for our clients.

Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to customers and clients within designated areas Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary Ensure accurate and timely deliveries, adhering to scheduled routes and delivery times Assist with moving heavy items and performing heavy lifting tasks during loading and unloading processes Maintain proper documentation of deliveries, including receipts and delivery logs Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times, issues, or special instructions Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with transportation regulations Follow all safety protocols and company policies during transportation and warehouse activities

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record Experience in warehouse operations, including moving and forklift operation is preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling of goods safely Prior experience in commercial driving or delivery services is advantageous Good organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate delivery documentation Physical ability to handle long periods of driving, loading, and unloading tasks Reliable transportation to reach the warehouse or starting point of deliveries
