Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Construction Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support construction projects by assisting skilled tradespeople and ensuring that work sites are organized and safe. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to follow instructions effectively.

Duties

Assist in the preparation and clean-up of construction sites Load and unload materials and equipment Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely Help with the assembly of structures, including scaffolding and frameworks Maintain a clean and organized work environment Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times Help with preparing job contracts

Skills

Basic knowledge of construction processes and terminology is preferred Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely Strong physical stamina for lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members Attention to detail to ensure quality work is completed Willingness to learn new skills and techniques in the construction field
