Job Description

Skyrise Scaffolding provides expert scaffolding systems to support General Contractors and Specialist Trades in the Construction Industry. This role is with the construction side of our business, responsible for the construction, maintenance and renovation of Commercial and Residential buildings owned and operated by our Group of Companies.

Location of Work:

Work sites in Fall River, Dartmouth or Halifax

Responsibilities:

Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, wallboard, and other materials. Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials in accordance with building plans. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Collaborate with other construction professionals to deliver exceptional results. Maintain tools and equipment in good condition, ensuring safety and functionality on the job site. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp requirements and specifications.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Carpenter in residential or commercial construction. Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings with precision. Able to communicate effectively and follow written and verbal instructions. Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices on construction sites. Strong interpersonal teamwork and customer service skills. Demonstrated commitment to safety. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
