Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent project management skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders. This role is critical in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Duties

Manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure compliance with design specifications. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for project tracking and documentation. Conduct construction estimating to prepare accurate budgets and forecasts. Develop project schedules using Primavera P6 to ensure timely completion of milestones. Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate communication and resolve issues. Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to stay on track. Ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare regular reports on project status for stakeholders.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction project management with a strong understanding of construction processes. Proficiency in blueprint reading and schematic interpretation. Familiarity with construction estimating practices and tools such as HeavyBid. Experience using project management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and Civil 3D. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills for liaising with team members and stakeholders at all levels. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. A degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
