Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Construction Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support various construction projects by assisting skilled tradespeople and ensuring that work sites are organized and safe. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be eager to learn, and possess a basic understanding of construction practices.

Responsibilities

Assist in the setup and breakdown of job sites, including loading and unloading materials. Support skilled tradespeople with tasks such as framing, drywall installation, and finishing work. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision. Follow safety protocols to ensure compliance with regulations and standards. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and report any issues. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in construction practices.

Experience

Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required; we welcome entry-level candidates eager to learn. Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is a plus. Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as needed. A commitment to safety on the job site is essential.

Pay: $15.30-$20.00 per hour
