Job Description

We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our concrete restoration crew. We typically work until December and restart in March or April depending on weather conditions. We have projects all around the GTA. The ideal candidate should either drive or be able to commute to various job sites around the GTA. We are looking for someone reliable, dependable, and with a strong work ethic. The jobsite the candidate would be starting in is in Brampton, ON.

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Concrete Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various concrete-related tasks, ensuring the successful completion of projects while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Duties

Assist with concrete forming, pouring, and finishing to create durable structures. Install rebar and other reinforcement materials Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of tasks. Conduct demolition or removal of concrete Support carpentry activities related to concrete forms and structural components. Engage in heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks to meet project requirements. Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

Proven experience or knowledge in construction-related fields such as concrete forming, finishing, or restoration. Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with heavy equipment operation are highly desirable. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work in demanding conditions. Knowledge of safety procedures relevant to construction sites. Prior experience in construction or concrete work an asset Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
