Support the historic development of Squamish Nation's constitution, a foundational document that will guide our Uxwumixw (community) for generations. Your administrative skills will help advance self-governance while honoring Sk?wx?wu7mesh snew?iyelh (teachings) and values.

What You'll Do


------------------

Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Constitution Secretariat team Process financial documents including cheque requisitions, invoices and purchase orders Coordinate meetings, events and logistics including venue booking and catering Maintain efficient scheduling and information flow for the project Handle member inquiries and stakeholder communications with professionalism Prepare documents, reports and correspondence as needed Organize materials and supplies for constitution-related events Support data entry and record-keeping for the project

What We're Looking For

2+ years experience in administrative or project support roles Proficiency with office software (MS Office, databases, etc.) Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Experience handling confidential information appropriately Ability to work some evenings/weekends as needed Knowledge of Squamish Nation governance structures Cultural humility and respect for Sk?wx?wu?7mesh values, sovereignty, and self-determination.

Salary: $ 47,000 - $66,000
