What You Will Do
As a member of the Alberta Operations Team, and the Alberta Habitat Asset Management (HAM) Program, you will be responsible for managing all existing DUC assets in North/Central Alberta, including partner relations.
Practical experience with engineered water control structures, land management and administration, conservation projects and programs, agriculture, engineering and/or biology, would all be considered assets to this very diverse and challenging opportunity.
You need to be an enthusiastic team player and an effective communicator who is able to build positive working relationships with various staff of local governments, landowners, industry, agricultural producers, volunteers and other conservation agencies.
You possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills. You have demonstrated expertise in program planning and implementation and contract management and tendering. You are self-motivated, enjoy a complex, changing environment and can manage numerous projects on tight deadlines.
Your minimum 3 -5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in conservation program delivery, natural resource management techniques and waterfowl habitat requirements, will make you the ideal candidate for this position.
