Kontron Canada is looking for a Configuration Management Specialist. As part of the change management process and introduction of new avionics products, you will monitor the requirements and tasks to be accomplished in the different teams. You will also coordinate all activities and deliverables of the various stakeholders to ensure efficient production and document all changes related to new products in development and to released products.

Kontron\'s embedded computing systems interact with a wide variety of devices in rugged environments such as avionics, transportation, defense, and telecommunications.

AN OVERVIEW OF THE CHALLENGES AHEAD:
You will:

• Act as a leader in the analysis, creation and introduction of documentary changes of avionic products;
• Write documents required to maintain avionics certifications related to the production and repair of products;
• Establish product assembly and manufacturing strategies;
• Create and maintain material lists (BOMs) and manufacturing documentation for products in the company\'s ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system;
• Manage and monitor change requests and associated deliverables;
• Ensure the transfer of product information toward production sites (internal and subcontractor) and provide support to the production team;
• Actively participate in the planning and management of prototype requirements (cards/systems): batch management, monitoring of changes and customer requests;
• Coordinate the production of prototypes (cards/systems) and all other customer requests (via product and/or program management, technical support, and internal sales groups).

YOU WILL IMPRESS US IF YOU HAVE:

• Education: College or University degree in engineering or equivalent;
• Experience : Ideally 5 years in an aeronautical manufacturing environment;
• Knowledge: Good knowledge of Transport Canada documentary requirements; new product introduction for manufacturing within an ERP system (SAP); assembly and integration processes for electronic products; Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.);
• Assets : Knowledge of the SAP ERP system; manufacturing and DFM concepts (Design for Manufacturing) for complex electronics products;

Profile: Autonomous, meticulous, excellent ability to synthesize and document information both orally and in writing, organization, responsibility, excellent learning and working skills, teamwork;

• Languages : Fluent in French and English (verbal and written).
