This is a 15 month contract position.



Reporting to the Catering Manager, the Conference Services Manager will be responsible for the following:

Job Responsibilities



Provide administrative support to the Conference Services and Banquets Departments Receive calls, qualify and forward them to the appropriate person Receive, qualify and respond to catering leads Greet clients as they arrive at the Conference Service Office and assist them with any inquiries Ensure that change logs are ran daily and forwarded to the appropriate persons Update CI, when new Banquet Menus and A/V pricing are provided Booking and detailing all the in-house meetings for the hotels Distribute Daily Events Reports and perform Weekly Distribution of Events Ensure that the banquet bills are completed and distributed to Conference Services Managers for daily verification Maintain the electronic reader boards Assist the Conference Services Managers with any projects they may require help with Collaborate and provide support on social media initiatives including online reputation management (TripAdvisor, Yelp, etc.), content creation and social customer service All other duties assigned

The successful candidate should have the following:



Excellent organizational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills Previous experience with CI and Lightspeed an asset Demonstrated ability in taking on numerous responsibilities while meeting deadlines A Degree or Diploma in Tourism Management, or related field an asset Ability to take initiative and find creative ways to respond to client requests Must be a positive, service-oriented team player Fluent (written & oral) in English Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain enthusiasm and a positive attitude

Pay: $58,000.00-$61,000.00 per year
