The Role? as Chocolate Ambassador,
you have an eye for detail, a love of chocolate and a commitment to deliver a great customer experience. You are part of the team responsible for the efficient running of the chocolate shop, both front and back of house.
Customer Service
Welcome customers  
Assist in the selection of chocolates, gifts etc  
Orders:  
Manage all orders daily, Order book, order folder and online orders  
Communicate new orders, urgencies and changes with the kitchen  
Check that all orders are taken correctly and have contact info, payment info  
Inventory management:  
Keep the shop fully stocked with products and display items  
Communicate with the kitchen when products are low and request items to be produced before they the product is out of stock  
Communicate what needs to be ordered from packaging suppliers (ribbon, boxes etc.)  
Drive productivity and profitability by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and reduce waste.  
Manage expire dates on products, rotate stock  
Wrap and package new product  
Display management:  
Re-organize the product displays to reflect the upcoming chocolate season  
Ensure all products are properly labeled and priced according to the display strategy of the shop  
Keep the displays and storefront clean and organized to maximize the customer retail experience  
Communication:  
Check phone messages  
Check email
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
Experience:
Retail sales: 2 years (required)
