We are currently seeking an experienced and organized Condominium Manager to join our Condominium Division. This role offers the opportunity to manage a portfolio of condominium corporations while working within a collaborative and supportive environment.
The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join Sussex Realty's Condominium Management Division and take ownership of a well-structured portfolio of condominium corporations. As a Condominium Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting Boards with governance, financial oversight, and building operations, while building strong relationships with Owners and Residents.
A main goal of this role is to help Sussex Realty continue to grow its condominium management portfolio, offering the chance to contribute directly to the company's expansion. With access to ongoing training, mentorship, and industry certification support, this position also provides room for professional growth and long-term career advancement.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary liaison between Condominium Boards, Owners, Residents, and Contractors.
Manage day-to-day operations for a portfolio of condominium corporations.
Attend Board meetings and Annual General Meetings (AGMs), preparing and presenting reports.
Assist in identifying new business opportunities and supporting Sussex Realty's portfolio growth.
Actively contribute to Sussex Realty's growth by identifying opportunities for new condominium corporations (WCCs) to join our portfolio.
Work to grow the company's presence and recognition within the industry.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and oversee financial statements, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Coordinate and supervise maintenance, repairs, and service contracts.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure standards are maintained.
Provide guidance on condominium bylaws, rules, and policies, supporting Boards with governance and compliance.
Qualifications
Previous experience in condominium or property management is required.
Solid understanding of The Condominium Act (Manitoba) and condominium governance.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Yardi is considered an asset.
Professional designation is an asset or willingness to pursue.
