We invite you to use your skills with us and contribute to something meaningful and enduring.The OpportunityWe are currently seeking a Condition Monitoring Advisor to join our Reliability Engineering team in Long Harbour.This is a permanent on-site position, working a 4x10s schedule at the Long Harbour Operations site in Long Harbour, NL.As a Condition Monitoring Advisor, you will implement a world class predictive maintenance program across fixed, rotating and mobile equipmentAdditionally, in this position you will:

  • Utilize Safe Production tools and exhibit behaviors of Safe Production and consider how to consistently achieve ALARA during design activities. Achieve compliance with monthly safety plan (quantity and quality) and follow notification protocols for incident and injuries.
  • Develop and implement world class condition monitoring programs with a focus on rotating, mobile and fixed equipment.
  • Lead the transition from manual data collection (vibration, ultrasound..etc) to online monitoring across critical equipment.
  • Work with a cross functional team to deploy a predicative analytic platform which will correlate condition monitoring data, process parameters & SAP maintenance history to extend the useful life of equipment & calculate remaining useful life.
  • Maximize production profit by minimizing equipment downtime through predictive maintenance as well as improve design and installation criteria and minimize overall cost by reduction of failures and reducing maintenance resource requirements.
  • Be involved in regular audits of condition monitoring programs to ensure that quality is maintained, ensuring that all programs are designed to safely operate without impact to employees, the business, the environment, and the community, and utilize this information to continuously improve the system. Develop KPIs to quantify the performance of developed condition monitoring programs and update these KPIs on a continuous basis
  • Act as a technical resource to assist the Maintenance group with troubleshooting of general equipment problems and actively participate in the development of other Maintenance personnel in the field of condition monitoring.
  • Interface with Maintenance Planning personnel on a regular basis to ensure that PdM procedures and documentation are modified as necessary as a result of additions, deletions or modifications to the plant processes or configuration.
  • Maintain all condition monitoring documentation and ensure that all changes in documentation are reflected in the CMMS through liaison with Maintenance Planning.
About YouEducation:
  • Red Seal Millwright, Technologist or Engineer in addition to Vibration CAT 2 certification is mandatory.
