Recommend measures to improve productivity Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers Establish work schedules Prepare production and other reports Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies Set up machines and equipment Oversee safety of operations Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.) Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications Estimate materials, tools and equipment required for projects Estimate the amount of material of fabric required to make a product Ensure that process steps are carried out according to specifications Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met Ensure that systems and equipment are operating efficiently and that proper maintenance and repairs are performed Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards Ensure compliance to drawings, specifications and building codes Complete legal documentation Maintain log books that detail all repairs and checks performed Explain rules of games to patrons and ensure that rules are followed Assist with installation of audiovisual equipment and help in resolving problems during use Plan and organize construction projects Follow up with patients to ensure assigned remedial programs are correctly followed and completed Direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade Complete administrative duties
