Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled Mixer Driver to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering materials to create high-quality concrete products. This role requires a strong understanding of concrete mixing processes, as well as the ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently. The Mixer will play a crucial role in ensuring that production meets quality standards while adhering to safety regulations.

Duties



Operate concrete mixing equipment and machinery to prepare concrete mixtures according to specifications. Monitor the mixing process to ensure consistency and quality of the finished product. Perform routine maintenance on mixing equipment and report any mechanical issues. Collaborate with team members to coordinate the delivery of mixed concrete to various job sites. Assist in loading and unloading materials, including aggregates and cement. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Utilize heavy equipment operation skills for tasks such as digging, paving, and building forms as needed. Demonstrate knowledge of concrete finishing techniques to ensure high-quality results.

Qualifications



Previous experience in concrete mixing or related fields is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Experience operating loaders and other heavy machinery is a plus. Familiarity with concrete forming techniques and finishing processes. Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is an advantage but not required. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy loads and standing for extended periods. Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: $25.91-$29.43 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

10 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Overtime Weekends as needed
