Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Concrete Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will assist with various phases of concrete work, including form setup, finishing, and restoration projects. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and familiarity with construction tools and techniques. The Concrete Laborer will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of high-quality concrete structures and related renovation projects.

Responsibilities

Assist with concrete forming, pouring, and finishing to meet project specifications Install rebar and other reinforcement materials according to schematics and blueprints Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate execution of tasks Perform masonry work, including caulking, flooring installation, and restoration tasks Use welding skills when necessary for structural reinforcement or repairs Conduct concrete curing, sealing, and surface finishing to achieve desired textures and appearances Assist with demolition or removal of old structures as part of renovation projects Follow safety protocols related to heavy lifting, scaffolding, and equipment operation

Skills

Mechanical knowledge relevant to construction tools and machinery Experience with rebar installation, concrete forming, and finishing techniques Carpentry skills for framing and form setup Ability to operate heavy equipment safely on-site Knowledge of masonry work, restoration processes, and flooring installation Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and scaffolding systems Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Strong understanding of construction safety standards and procedures Physical strength for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or working at heights Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members on complex projects

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$37.83 per hour
