Overview

Looking for local talent from Drayton Valley. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and concrete work, demonstrating proficiency in various tasks related to concrete installation, finishing, and maintenance. This role requires physical endurance, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively on construction sites.

Duties

Assist in the preparation and pouring of concrete for various projects, including foundations, forming and framing. Some wood framing an asset. Operate concrete mixers and other machinery safely and efficiently. Install rebar and perform concrete forming to ensure structural integrity. Execute concrete finishing techniques to achieve desired surface quality. Utilize hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and smoothing concrete surfaces. Installation of 3 modular units Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and requirements. Collaborate with team members on-site to ensure timely project completion while adhering to safety protocols. Perform heavy lifting as required for materials and equipment.

Skills

Mechanical knowledge of construction equipment and tools. Proficiency in hardscape installation techniques. Ability to perform trim carpentry, frame carpentry, metal stud framing, and caulking tasks as needed. Previous experience on construction sites is essential for success in this role. Candidates should be prepared for physically demanding work that includes heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions. Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
