Overview

We are seeking an experienced Concrete Former & ICF Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of conventional forming systems, ICF installation, rebar placement, blueprint reading, and high-quality workmanship. This role requires reliability, safety awareness, and the ability to complete complex residential and commercial concrete structures.

Key Responsibilities

Install and set up ICF wall systems (Nudura, Fox Blocks, IntegraSpec, Logix, etc.). Build conventional concrete forms for footings, walls, slabs, and foundations. Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and rebar schedules. Perform accurate layout, measurements, and leveling using laser levels. Install and tie rebar according to engineering specifications. Assist with concrete pours, vibration, finishing support, and quality control. Ensure proper bracing, alignment, and waterproofing for ICF structures. Operate carpentry and forming tools safely (saws, drills, nailers, etc.). Maintain a clean and organized worksite following safety regulations. Work cooperatively with supervisors, trades, and labor crew to meet deadlines.
Requirements

5+ years experience in concrete forming and/or ICF installation Strong understanding of ICF systems, bracing, buck installation, and pour preparation Ability to read blueprints, elevations, and structural details Ability to lift heavy materials and work in outdoor environments Skilled with hand and power tools used in forming and carpentry Valid Working at Heights and WHMIS certifications (or willingness to obtain) Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong work ethic and reliability
Preferred Assets

Experience with multiple ICF brands (Nudura, Fox Blocks, IntegraSpec, Logix) Framing or general carpentry experience Machine operating licenses (telehandler, skid steer, etc.) Leadership or crew lead experience
