Join our dynamic team as a Concrete Laborer, where your skills and dedication will contribute to the successful completion of a variety of construction projects! In this role, you will be an essential part of our crew, working with concrete and other materials to create durable structures. Your hands-on experience and mechanical knowledge will help us deliver high-quality results while ensuring safety and efficiency on the job site.

What you'll do

Assist in the preparation and pouring of concrete for various projects, ensuring proper mixing and consistency. Set up and dismantle concrete forms, utilizing your expertise in concrete forming techniques. Install rebar to reinforce concrete structures, adhering to safety standards and project specifications. Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely and efficiently to complete tasks effectively. Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and layout specifications. Perform finishing work on concrete surfaces, including smoothing, caulking, and plastering as needed. Collaborate with team members on renovation projects, providing support in carpentry, masonry, and flooring installation. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools and power tools. Proficient in construction estimating and blueprint reading for effective project execution. Experience in hardscape installation, including tile laying and flooring installation. Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safe operation of heavy equipment. Knowledge of restoration processes, including stucco application and trim carpentry. Ability to perform welding tasks as needed for structural integrity. Experience in metal stud framing and frame carpentry is a plus. A commitment to safety practices on construction sites while demonstrating teamwork skills.
