Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work, including finishing techniques and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires a combination of technical skills and physical stamina, as you will be responsible for creating smooth, durable surfaces for various concrete applications.

Duties

Prepare and set up concrete forms according to specifications and blueprints. Mix, pour, and spread concrete using hand tools and power tools. Finish surfaces of poured concrete using various techniques to achieve desired textures and finishes. Install rebar and other reinforcements as needed for structural integrity. Perform restoration work on existing concrete surfaces, including caulking and repairs. Operate heavy equipment safely when required for large projects. Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Experience

Candidates should possess the following skills:

Mechanical knowledge related to construction tools and equipment. Proficiency in rebar installation, masonry, carpentry, and concrete forming techniques. Experience with heavy lifting and operating heavy machinery safely. Familiarity with renovation processes, flooring installation, and restoration techniques. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans effectively. Knowledge of welding practices is a plus but not mandatory.
