Overview

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing and be capable of working on various projects.

Position Responsibilities:

Prepare base & sub-base using tampers, jumping jacks, granular materials, & geo-textile materials, & other tools & equipment as required Construct & install forms using a variety of hand & power tools in addition to lasers & levels to verify proper elevations & slopes Place & tie reinforcement using standard rebar & prefabricated rebar assemblies with the correct layouts & spacing Place & finish concrete in primarily flat-work but also structural applications using various tools such as rakes/spreaders, hand floats, edgers, bull floats, fresnos, screed boards, brooms, brushes, groovers, vibrators, & trowels Aftercare of finished concrete (waterproofing, sealing, wet-curing, & densification) Work alongside carpenters, finishers, & labourers as a team to complete assigned work Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Experience

Proven experience in concrete finishing is essential. Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safety protocols. Proficient in the use of both hand tools and power tools related to concrete work.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $32.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
