We are seeking a passionate and goal-oriented construction sales associate to join our company. In this role, you'll be tasked with quickly and aggressively building a sales database for former and new potential clients.
You must be comfortable working as both a team player and solo while possessing the skills to produce sales to assist with growing the company. You'll have the freedom (owner is very hands-off/not a micro manager) to create and implement strategies that will lead to the continued growth of our organization. You must possess the skills to produce sales as well as have the ability and confidence to organize, meet, and follow up with potential new clients while also helping with quoting new projects once tenders & quote requests are received. A background in understanding and reading drawings (for tenders) is not required but is preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain responsibility for performance of all sales activities within an assigned territory.
Establish and strategically build a solid customer base.
Set team goals and conduct quarterly performance reviews with upper management.
Provide strong leadership to achieve maximum profitability and growth in conjunction with company goals.
Lead by example, using the established sales processes, and close a high percentage of the leads that you generate.
Continually analyze the sales process in an effort to refine and improve its success, and work with upper management to establish sales reporting framework.
Strive to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction with all customer interactions.
Job Skills & Qualifications:
Preferred:
Strong track record of accomplishments and promotions in the sales field.
Highly personable, with the ability to quickly build relationships.
Background in sales, equipment rentals, or something that is similar to the offered sales position with our company.
Self motivator. Ability to figure out and plan own schedule for sales roll.
