Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and be proficient in various construction management software. This role involves working on-site to assist with concrete Cribbing and pouring of Townhome foundations as well as retaining walls.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and pouring of concrete for various structures, including foundations, slabs, and walls. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans to ensure accurate execution of tasks. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to maintain project timelines and quality standards. Conduct quality control checks on materials and finished work to ensure compliance with specifications. Utilize construction management software such as Buildertrend, Bluebeam, for project tracking and reporting. Participate in budgeting discussions and assist in construction estimating as needed. Provide supervision to junior laborers or apprentices when required, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction with a focus on concrete work preferred. Strong understanding of quality control processes within the construction industry. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Experience in budgeting and construction estimating is a plus. Supervising experience is beneficial for overseeing project teams effectively. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
