Position: Lead Hand for Concrete Forming Crew

C Stevens Construction Ltd has been operating for 14 years with one aspect of the company specializing in concrete formwork for multi-family townhomes and parkade structures. We are seeking energetic & dependable individuals looking to grow with our company.

The successful candidate for the foreman position should possess the following qualifications:

3-5 years experience in full time cribbing and formwork carpentry

Concrete forming knowledge and experience with suspended slab shoring layout & install

Confident with layout & construction of footings, walls & columns, elevator cores

Familiar with concrete forming systems, gang forms, cone ties, Perry, Strip easy

Read/interpret blueprints: structural, architectural, civil, layout, elevations

Adhere to schedules & deadlines while giving excellent attention to detail & workmanship

Safely operate specialized power tools, machines, hand tools

High concern for safety

Competently lead a crew of 3-7, maximizing potential of each worker to maximize efficiency of the crew

Dependable & consistent - show up on time & ready to work with a great work ethic

Valid Safety Tickets are assets: First Aid, Telehandler Forklift Certificate

Position: Concrete Labourers

Scope of work may include:

Erect & dismantle concrete form systems; footings, walls, columns, etc.

Erect & dismantle shoring systems for suspended slabs

Operate power tools

General labour: cleanup, carrying building materials, tool care & maintenance



Qualifications:

1+ year experience in concrete work

Work independently with attention to detailed instructions, or as part of a team with great work ethic

High concern for safety

Dependable & consistent - show up on time & ready to work

Valid Safety Tickets are assets: First Aid,
