Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and the ability to perform various tasks related to concrete construction, including forming, finishing, and restoration. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and pouring of concrete for various projects Perform concrete finishing tasks to ensure a smooth and durable surface Install rebar and other reinforcements as required for structural integrity Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently when necessary Utilize hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and finishing concrete Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications Engage in masonry work, including bricklaying and block laying as needed Participate in renovation projects that may involve flooring installation or restoration tasks Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools are properly stored after use Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while meeting quality standards

Skills

Mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment and tools Proficiency in rebar installation techniques Experience in carpentry for formwork construction Familiarity with heavy equipment operation for site preparation Knowledge of restoration processes for existing structures Skills in masonry practices for building walls or structures Competence in concrete forming techniques for various applications Ability to effectively use hand tools such as trowels, floats, and chisels Understanding of construction principles and practices Expertise in concrete finishing methods for aesthetic appeal and durability Proficient in using power tools safely on job sites Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and project plans accurately Experience with renovation tasks that may include caulking or sealing joints Capability to perform heavy lifting as required by job duties Basic welding skills may be beneficial for certain projects

Pay: $32.00-$40.00 per hour
