Our manufacturing plant is hiring experienced Concrete Batch Plant Operators who want to contribute to the innovation of construction and join a fast-growing company. This position will be situated full-time in our manufacturing plant in Blackfalds and will require overtime, flexibility, and the occasional Saturday. The successful candidate will have a proven background and knowledge in concrete batching or a similar role. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and comfortable contributing in a team environment or working independently. *

• Responsible for mixing specific components to make concrete
• Knowledge of batching equipment, operations, and processes
• Document, record, and monitor Batch Plant data
• Maintaining and cleaning batch plants, mixers, carts, and aggregate systems
• Communicate with the pouring crew, shop managers, and quality control manager
• Follow instructions, procedures, and schedules as outlined in batch plant manuals, manufacture specifications, and safety manual
• Safely operate overhead cranes in a manufacturing environment
• Keep an adequate inventory of batching materials
• Assist QC personnel in concrete testing to ensure the product meets the quality that Eagle Builders is known for

• Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot problems
• A valid class 5 license and reliable transportation to drive to the shop every day

• Previous experience batching concrete or similar role
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new programs
• Familiar with the Canadian Standard Association
• Minimum 40 hours per week, must be flexible and willing to work overtime
• Must be physically fit to perform demanding work for extended periods of time
• Able to work in a fast-paced work environment with attention to detail
• The ability to work under minimal supervision
• Must be punctual and reliable
• Local to central Alberta or willing to relocate to central Alberta
• Must be eligible to work in Canada. Currently, we are unable to sponsor international candidates
