Batch Plant Operator
City Mix
The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation of our Headingley concrete batch plant. The batcher will report and be trained by the primary batcher. The successful candidate will be required to work full time hours . The candidate must be willing to work varying hours which include early mornings, late evenings and weekends if required. In this position, accuracy is a key component.
General Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Batch concrete (plant operation)
Operate loader.
Maintenance of yard (i.e., unloading and loading material)
General house cleaning
Safety Inspections
Qualifications:
Technical and working knowledge of concrete is an asset.
A general understanding of plant production capacities in a concrete ready-mix environment is an asset.
A personal vehicle is required as there is no bus route.
City Mix will train the right candidate.

Pay: $24.00-$34.00 per hour
