The Grandview, an elegant inner-city condominium apartment building is seeking a friendly and professional Concierge to join our team. As the first point of

contact

for our residents, you will be responsible for understanding residents' needs while providing a secure environment. If you have a passion for providing a welcoming and safe environment, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

:

Monitor the security cameras and answer the telephones. Undertake a security check of all entrance doors, parkade and mechanical room. Transport articles to the resident's suite if requested. Familiarize themselves with all emergency procedures. Ensure all daily updates are tracked and recorded. Maintain cleanliness and overall care for the main floor. Remove the snow from the front entrance as needed. Main cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.

Qualifications

:

Previous experience in a similar role preferred; minimum 5 years an asset. Follows established procedures and policies. Discretion and a confidential manner are a must. Professional attitude and appearance. Good physical condition (must be able to carry groceries, walk stairs, shovel snow). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure Proficient in computer software and security systems. Willing to provide a clean security/background check.

Work Schedule:

The position consists of four (4) 12-hour shifts (7 pm - 7 am) followed by four days off.
