As the first point of contact, the Concierge plays a valuable role and is responsible for ensuring exceptional service through greeting residents, staff, visitors and as well as general administrative support.

Responsibilities



Provide a friendly and approachable image as the first point of contact Maintain a welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors Ability to build relationships with residents, staff, and visitors while using compassion when dealing with difficult situations Manage incoming calls and transfer to appropriate individual Maintaining resident services and identify areas for improvements Respond to resident inquiries promptly Assist with coordination of move ins Operate and maintain office equipment General administrative support; documentation, mail/courier, office supply inventory Other duties as assigned to support operational requirements

Qualifications and Experience



One (1) year experience as a Concierge or similar role is preferred Driving License (Class 5) required. Emergency First Aid required. Completion of post-secondary administration program is an asset Experience in a residential care setting is an asset Demonstrated excellent client service skills Superior interpersonal skills to interact with residents, staff and visitors Excellent written and oral communication skills, demonstrating strong attention to detail and accuracy Strong sense of ethics and the ability to handle sensitive information with tact and discretion Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities Strong problem solving and analytical skills Strong computer literacy including effective working skills with Microsoft Suite Ability to work independently and in a team setting Experience working in a fast-paced environment
