Position Overview

West Shore Parks & Recreation (WSPR) is seeking energetic and outgoing Concession Attendants to work in The Q Centre Arenaconcession providing amazing customer service; order taking; and ensuring surrounding areas are spiffy clean, while doing basic food preparation and kitchen services. In addition to being a part of a wonderful team, this person will also be eligible for a staff membership to WSPR and the ability to play on our 9-hole golf course.

Anticipated start date, first week of August.

This is a part-time job, one or two shifts per week, depending on games. Perfect for students or professionals.

Qualifications

Excellent communication and customer service skills. Excellent organization skills and the ability to multi-task. Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment as well as work independently. Experience with cash handling and completing cash outs. Experience with industrial kitchen equipment an asset. Experience in food preparation, safe handling of food, cleanliness, and kitchen safety an asset. Successful completion of, or working towards Food Safe certification is an asset. Serving it Right certification is an asset. Any concession experience is an asset.
