Reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager and / or Executive Director, you will deliver exceptional customer service as part of the dynamic ARC team. You will ensure exceptional customer service by supporting a fun, safe, and enjoyable environment. This position includes food preparation and cooking, serving beverages, processing customer sales & transactions, cleaning and bussing tables in lobby, operating cash register, stocking product and letting supervisor know when product is low, addressing questions and concerns and coordinate with the operations and custodial staff as required. You will be supporting food services at the ARC Social Lounge by delivering orders and processing orders.
Specific responsibilities:
Provide enthusiastic customer service in a sincere, professional and courteous manner, striving to exceed customer expectations.
Multitask with customers, to ensure efficient food and beverage service.
Perform all cash handling and payment functions including accurate cash outs at the end of shift.
Ensure all customer transactions are recorded and accurate.
Operate equipment - Cash register, coffee maker, hot dog roller, grill and fryer, etc.
Listen to customer complaints with empathy & act appropriately.
Understand and apply all safety, security and procedures as directed by Alberta Health Services.
Willingness to cross train for service in the ARC Social Lounge.
Must be available for evening and weekend shifts.

Food Safety Certificate / Course an asset

Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
