Le concepteur s\xc3\xa9nior travaillera g\xc3\xa9n\xc3\xa9ralement avec une supervision minimale et doit \xc3\xaatre capable d\'obtenir de fa\xc3\xa7on ind\xc3\xa9pendante suffisamment d\'informations pour \xc3\xa9laborer des dessins de construction de conception \xc3\xa9lectrique industrielle conform\xc3\xa9ment au Code canadien de l\'\xc3\xa9lectricit\xc3\xa9 (CCE), au Code national de l\'\xc3\xa9lectricit\xc3\xa9 (NEC) et aux normes AFRY.

Le candidat doit poss\xc3\xa9der de bonnes comp\xc3\xa9tences en mati\xc3\xa8re de gestion du temps, car il sera souvent appel\xc3\xa9 \xc3\xa0 travailler sur plusieurs projets en m\xc3\xaame temps.

Concepteur senior : sp\xc3\xa9cialiste en mati\xc3\xa8re de chemins de c\xc3\xa2bles et de canalisations

Le candidat doit poss\xc3\xa9der une solide exp\xc3\xa9rience professionnelle dans les domaines suivants de la conception \xc3\xa9lectrique :

• Conception et disposition des chemins de c\xc3\xa2bles pour le c\xc3\xa2blage d\'alimentation, de contr\xc3\xb4le et d\'instrumentation pour les secteurs industriels tels que la p\xc3\xa2te et le papier, le traitement des eaux us\xc3\xa9es, la production d\'\xc3\xa9lectricit\xc3\xa9.
• Conception et disposition de chemins de c\xc3\xa2bles et de conduits pour le c\xc3\xa2blage d\'alimentation, de contr\xc3\xb4le et d\'instrumentation pour des secteurs industriels tels que les p\xc3\xa2tes et papiers, le traitement des eaux us\xc3\xa9es et la production d\'\xc3\xa9nergie.
• Rapports de chargement des chemins de c\xc3\xa2bles, m\xc3\xa9thodes d\'installation des chemins de c\xc3\xa2bles et mise \xc3\xa0 la terre des chemins de c\xc3\xa2bles.
• Chargement des conduits, m\xc3\xa9thodes d\'installation des conduits, mise \xc3\xa0 la terre et connexion des conduits.
• S\xc3\xa9lection du type de chemins de c\xc3\xa2bles, de chemins de roulement et de conduits pour l\'application sp\xc3\xa9cifique du projet.
• Distribution et contr\xc3\xb4le de 120 volts \xc3\xa0 15 000 volts CA.
• C\xc3\xa2blage d\'instrumentation et de contr\xc3\xb4le \xc3\xa0 courant continu (signaux num\xc3\xa9riques et analogiques) et contr\xc3\xb4les de 120 volts CA.
• Conception et disposition de conduits souterrains.
• Conception et disposition des syst\xc3\xa8mes de mise \xc3\xa0 la terre.
• D\xc3\xa9terminer les amp\xc3\xa9rages des c\xc3\xa2bles d\'alimentation moyenne et basse tension en fonction du calcul des remplissages admissibles des conduits et des chemins de c\xc3\xa2bles, des facteurs de d\xc3\xa9classement et du calcul des chutes de tension.
• \xc3\x89laborer les plans d\'am\xc3\xa9nagement physique des salles \xc3\xa9lectriques, des salles de transformateurs et des sous-stations ext\xc3\xa9rieures.
• Coordonner la conception avec les autres disciplines (tuyauterie, CVAC, civil, m\xc3\xa9canique).
• Examiner les dessins du fournisseur et faire des commentaires.

RELATIONS DE TRAVAIL :

Au niveau d\xc3\xa9partemental, ce poste rel\xc3\xa8ve du directeur du d\xc3\xa9partement \xc3\xa9lectrique. Au niveau d\'un projet sp\xc3\xa9cifique, le titulaire de ce poste rel\xc3\xa8vera de l\'ing\xc3\xa9nieur \xc3\xa9lectrique en chef d\xc3\xa9sign\xc3\xa9 pour le projet.

ENGLISH

The Senior Designer will generally be working with minimal supervision and must be capable of independently obtaining sufficient information to develop industrial electrical design construction drawings per the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC), National Electrical Code (NEC) and AFRY standards.

Candidate must possess good time management skills as the candidate will frequently be required to work on multiple project tasks at the same time.

Candidate may be required to travel to the Client mill site on an as need basis during the execution of the project within Canada and USA.

Senior Designer : Speciality with Cable Trays and Conduits

Candidate must possess a strong working background in the following areas of electrical design:

• Design and layout of cable trays for power, control and instrumentation wiring for industrial sectors such as Pulp & Paper, Waste Water Treatment Power Generation
• Design and layout of raceway and conduits for power, control and instrumentation wiring for industrial sectors such as Pulp & Paper, Waste Water Treatment and Power Generation
• Cable tray loading reports, installation methods of cable trays and grounding of cable trays,
• Conduit loading, installation methods of conduits, grounding and connection of conduits
• Selecting type of cable trays, raceways and conduits for the project specific application
• Distribution and control from 120 volts to 15,000 volts AC
• Direct current instrumentation and control wiring ( Digital & Analog signals ) and 120 volt AC controls
• Design and layout of underground conduits
• Design and layout of grounding systems
• Determine medium and low voltage feeder cable sizing ampacities based on calculation of allowable conduit fills, cable tray fills, de-rating factors and voltage drop calculations
• Develop physical layout drawings of electrical rooms, transformer rooms, outdoor substations
• Coordinate design with other disciplines (Piping, HVAC, Civil, Mechanical)
• Review Vendor drawings and make comments

RELATIONSHIPS:

On a departmental level, this position will report to the Manager of the Electrical Department. On a project specific basis, this position will report to the designated Electrical Engineer Lead for the project.

Qualifications

• Solides comp\xc3\xa9tences en communication \xc3\xa9crite et orale avec la capacit\xc3\xa9 de faire des pr\xc3\xa9sentations efficaces aux clients et aux entrepreneurs.
• Exp\xc3\xa9rience de la collecte d\'informations \xc3\xa9lectriques sur le site du projet du client et compr\xc3\xa9hension des installations existantes de chemins de c\xc3\xa2bles et de conduits.
• Exp\xc3\xa9rience de travail sur les chantiers pour superviser l\'installation de syst\xc3\xa8mes de chemins de c\xc3\xa2bles et de conduits, et d\'\xc3\xa9quipements \xc3\xa9lectriques.
• Bilingue fran\xc3\xa7ais/anglais

Qualifications

• Direct Industry Practical Experience: Must possess in-depth knowledge and a working background in projects requiring detailed design of Cable trays and Conduit for the industrial sectors such as Pulp & Paper, Waste Water Treatment, Power Generation, etc.
• Minimum 12 years or more professional experience in cable tray design working in Consulting Engineering environment.
• Supervise intermediate and junior electrical cable tray designers.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to make effective presentations to clients and contractors.
• Experience to gather electrical information at Client\'s project site and understand existing cable tray and conduit installations
• Experience working at job sites to supervise the installation of cable tray systems and conduits, and electrical equipment
• Bilingual French / English
• Strong computer-based skills in relevant software programs, such as AUTOCAD 2D & AUTOCAD PLANT 3D modelling
• Good working knowledge of MICROSOFT Office Tools and Windows.
• Solid understanding of industrial electrical distribution equipment and materials
• Understanding and comprehensive working knowledge of the current Canadian Electrical Code, particular the sections relating to Wire and Cable, Raceway & Conduit Systems, Grounding, Motors and Motor Controls,
• Knowledge of electrical heat tracing and lighting design would be an asset
