Depassement et defis stimulants

OPAL-RT est a la recherche d'un Concepteur de circuits imprimes (PCB) d'experience pour contribuer au developpement de cartes electroniques specialisees utilisees pour l'acceleration du traitement de calcul dans nos simulateurs numeriques.





Au sein de l'equipe de developpement materielle, le concepteur PCB travaille avec les concepteurs electroniques et prend en charge toutes les etapes de conception des PCB, de la creation des footprints jusqu'a la generation des fichiers de fabrication (Gerbers, BOMs, ...) ainsi que repondre aux question DFM/DFA de nos sous-traitants. Dans certain cas, il pourrait contribuer a l'entree des schemas electroniques.

Principales responsabilites

:

Concevoir les circuits imprimes (PCB) avec differentes technologies : standard, FPGA, haute densite, haute vitesse 10Gb/s, 2 a 14 couches, carte metal, puissance jusqu'a 1000 V ou 100 A). Responsable de la librairie de pieces avec le logiciel Altium 365. Participer activement aux revues de conception electroniques. Aider a uniformiser les bonnes pratiques de conception et s'assurer que les differents concepteurs utilisent un processus standardise. Aider au deverminage des produits existants par l'analyse des schemas et layouts.

Competences recherchees :

Scolarite

:

DEC en electronique ou l'equivalent.

Experience

:

7 annees d'experiences pertinentes en conception de PCB; Experience avec des circuits demandant des layouts specialises.

Connaissances requises :

Experience dans le design electronique digital et analogique; Experience dans le design de circuits pour communication haute-vitesse (PCIe, SFP).

Atouts pour le poste

:

Experience avec Altium 365; Connaissances en electronique de puissance; Certification IPC Designer ou CID; Connaissances des enjeux CEM et securite (UL, CE).

Connaissances linguistiques :

Francais obligatoire - des cours seront offerts si necessaire pour faciliter l'integration. Bonnes competences en anglais pour la lecture d'ouvrages specialises/scientifiques non disponibles en francais.

Achievements and stimulating challenges :

OPAL-RT is looking for an experienced PCB Designer to contribute to the development of specialized electronic boards used to accelerate computational processing in our digital simulators.





As part of the hardware development team, the PCB Designer works with electronic designers and supports all stages of PCB design, from footprint creation to manufacturing file generation (Gerbers, BOMs, etc.), as well as responding to DFM/DFA questions from our subcontractors. In some cases, they may contribute to the input of electronic schematics.

Main responsibilities :

Design printed circuit boards (PCBs) using various technologies: standard, FPGA, high-density, high-speed 10Gb/s, 2 to 14 layers, metal board, power up to 1000V or 100A. Responsible for the components' library using Altium 365 software. Actively participate in electronic design reviews. Help standardize best design practices and ensure that different designers use a standardized process. Assist in the debugging of existing products by analyzing schematics and layouts.

Requirements :

Education:

DEC in electronics or equivalent.

Experience:

7 years of relevant experience in PCB design; Experience with circuits requiring specialized layouts.

Required knowledge

: Experience in digital and analog electronic design; Experience in circuit design for high-speed communications (PCIe, SFP).

Significant assets:

Experience with Altium 365; Knowledge of power electronics; IPC Designer or CID certification; Knowledge of EMC and safety issues (UL, CE).

Language abilities:

French required - courses will be offered if necessary to facilitate integration. Good English skills required to be able to read specialized/scientific books not available in French.
